The X-Files: I Want to Believe — Cut to the Truth
Under extremely tight deadlines to shoot and wrap X-Files: I Want to Believe, director Chris Carter coaxed Oscar-winning editor Richard Harris out of retirement to pull off the impossible. And thanks to Final Cut Pro, Harris did. “I like the simplicity of Final Cut,” he says. “I’m not a technical guy, but it was just very friendly, as well as flexible enough to handle all the formats. And certainly the HD picture output is better than anything I’ve seen.”
